With over 25 years of experience in the music and entertainment industry, Jamez T, also known as King Yao has carved out a legacy of leadership, creativity, and vision. As the youngest of two visionary brothers from Birmingham, Alabama, Jamez co-founded GenisysFilms alongside his older brother Terez, united by a shared dream: to tell captivating stories that resonate deeply and inspire globally. Growing up in Smithfield, Birmingham, wasn’t easy, but the challenges shaped Jamez into a dynamic force in the industry, a director, executive producer, music producer, and writer whose work reflects both grit and grace. His leadership style is rooted in authenticity, collaboration, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
At GenisysFilms, he fosters a culture that feels like family, where storytelling is not just an art but an experience.
